Working for God

Early next Tuesday morning a few men will gather at the Green Hill Golf Course overlooking the city of Worcester. Golf is not really the thing on their minds. They've got something bigger in mind. By showing up there for breakfast, these men are becoming part of a growing network of men who are finding the big purpose in their life and banding together to help one another achieve that purpose. Typically, after the men share breakfast, one or two will share a story or two on their progress in their journey to success, along with some of the challenges they face. Then a content expert will present a useful application story. Connections are made and the balance of the last hour focuses on the application of effective biblical principles in real life situations in the marketplace. These men are forming a network of average men from various vocations and life stages who share a common purpose - to be the best they can be at what they are doing. These men have begun to answer the question, "who are you working for?" They recognize that, according to 2 Corinthians 5:20, they have a high calling - working to be in the workplace as ambassadors for Christ. There's a really good chance that they will make a significant impact for their own lives and the lives and businesses they touch. I invite you to make a reservation for the upcoming breakfast and check out this growing group of men in our journey together. Ernie

Work and Peace

The number one attribute of a Marketplace Ambassador for Christ is that he is one who maintains an intimate walk with Christ in the context of his home, his workplace and his community.. Does that sound hard to you? Darryl Shoemaker reminds us that success begins in the quiet place and then spreads to characterize our daily walk. Ernie P.S. - Make your reservations now for CBMC's next Marketplace Ambassador Network breakfast at Worcester's Green Hill Golf Course on Tuesday, September 20, from 7:00 to 8:15 am. Lee Truax, CBMC's President will be the speaker.
