CBMC 2008 Family Conference - August 28-31, 2008
Create a Labor Day Weekend your Family will Always Remember
The Expeditionary Man! That’s what Rich Wagner aspires to be, and he’s biking across the United States as part of his effort to challenge every man to become an expeditionary leader of his family.
Rich is one of four great speakers at the CBMC Family Conference at Schroon Lake, NY this
year. You can view all the details along with beautiful photos of the conference location at
www.cbmcfamily.net.
Catch up with Rich and his family at www.whythebike.com, where you’ll find videos, photos and Rich’s blog covering the whole trip. When you register at the family conference registration web site (www.cbmcfamily.net) you can download a copy of a special coupon to obtain a free copy of Rich’s latest book – The Expeditionary Man. Just present the coupon when you check in at the conference.
WHAT A COMBINATION! – 4 Great Speakers in One Great Conference – a conference for the whole family… That’s something rare these days, and CBMC’s Family Conference at Schroon Lake is exactly that! It includes a full morning program for all ages—from infants through teens.
Afternoons are free for family fun. Delicious meals are provided buffet style in the historic Word of Life Inn. It’s all available this coming Labor Day weekend - Thursday evening August 28 through Sunday noon, August 31.
We have a terrific line-up of exciting speakers for 2008:
- Tim Echols is the founder of TeenPact, a leadership program for students that helps them to grow personally and spiritually. This citizenship program, now in 40 states, disciples Christian youth in both a Biblical worldview and a desire to impact the culture for Christ.
- Rick Miller is president and owner of Bucks County Furniture located in Telford, PA. Bucks County Furniture manufactures and sells antique reproduction furniture and fine custom cabinetry across the country. In 2006, Rick accepted the position of National Forums Director for CBMC, a marketplace ministry. Rick travels the country, serving business owners and professionals who are CBMC Forums members. He will relay their stories and challenges of faith at work.
- Lee Truax is our Conference Chairman. He is a graduate of Messiah College and is currently in pursuit of his MBA in Leadership through Liberty University. He works as a Senior Business Development Executive for Advanced Micro Devices. Lee is also a Ministry Associate for CBMC and a Field Staff Director (FSD) for DNA ministries.
- Rich Wagner is the author of The Expeditionary Man, The Myth of Happiness, The Gospel Unplugged, and Christianity For Dummies books. Before his call to full-time Christian authoring, he was the Vice President of Product Development at an internet software company in Silicon Valley. Rich and his family are spending most of this summer on a bicycle expedition across America from San Diego, CA to Charleston, SC.
